To launch The Philadelphia Inquirer’s new sports app, my team was tasked with driving downloads and engagement while capturing the spirit of Philly’s die-hard fans. We developed a witty, illustration-driven campaign built around the concept “Take Your Seat in the Stands.” Even if you’re not at the game, the app gives you the next best thing: live updates, breaking news, and deep team coverage. Through playful, on-brand illustrations of fans in everyday situations staying connected to the action, we created a flexible, modern campaign that celebrates the heart of Philadelphia sports culture.
